Florent Malouda (Chelsea) – 117 chances created in the 2010-11 season – Perhaps a surprising player to make the list but the Frenchman’s form in 2010-11 was outstanding despite the Blues surrendering the title back to Manchester United. =4. Leighton Baines (Everton) and Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal) – 116 chances created each, in the 2012-13 and 2006-07 seasons respectively – Baines (2012-13) and Fabregas (2006-07) are joint fourth on the list. While the Spaniard makes his second appearance on this list, Fabregas has yet to replicate this kind of creativity at Chelsea. Baines, meanwhile, has probably seen his best days in the blue of Everton. 8. Mikel Arteta (Everton) – 108 chances created in the 2006-07 season – The Spaniard’s form in the 2006-07 season helped Everton qualify for the UEFA Cup as he won the club’s Player of the Year and was ranked the sixth-best player in the league. 7. Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal) – 112 chances created in the 2007-08 season – The third Spaniard on the list, Fabregas’ form during the 2007-08 season led to him being named the Arsenal captain for the following season. 9 9.
