The position will begin August2021. Located seven miles from downtown Cincinnati in an areaoffering outstanding quality of life, Northern Kentucky Universityis a nationally-recognized metropolitan public university enrollingover 14,000 students and actively engages with its region of nearlytwo million people. The university offers 79 undergraduate degreeprograms and master’s degrees in 22 disciplines, along with JD,DNP, and EdD doctoral degrees. NKU opened a new $105Minterdisciplinary Health Innovation Center in 2018, where BusinessInformatics and Health Informatics faculty will play a key role inpopulation health research, education, and outreach.The College of Informatics is one of six colleges in theuniversity. It enrolls over 1,900 students in 14 bachelor’sprograms and three master’s programs. It was formed in 2005 tounite faculty and students from all the information-centricdisciplines. It is comprised of three academic departments:Business Informatics, Computer Science, and Communication and twocenters Informatics+ and Center for Information Security.. It offers BS degrees andundergraduate minors in Business Information Systems and in HealthInformatics, and offers Masters of Business Informatics and Mastersof Health Informatics degrees, as well as graduate certificates inthese areas.
