first_imgDAILY NEWS PRIMARY ENDORSEMENTS TO DATE THANKS to gerrymandering and the overwhelming power of incumbency, there are, sadly, a good many races in the June 6 primary that are either noncompetitive or irrelevant. These include minority party races in legislative campaigns and all county and state races featuring entrenched incumbents or party stalwarts who face no serious opposition. As a matter of policy, the Daily News only endorses in campaigns that are truly contested – that is, races in which your vote will make a difference.
